Ancient City of Antiphellos

Located in the center of Kaş, this ancient city dates back to the Lycian period. Its most striking structure is the ancient theater with a view of the sea. 

Distance: ~3.5 km

Note: Since the distance by land is short, walking is also an option.
 

Patara Ancient City

Patara, the capital of the Lycian League, spans a vast area. The ruins of the council building, theater, and ancient harbor are quite impressive. 

Distance: ~43–45 km

Xanthos Ancient City

Listed on the UNESCO World Heritage List, this city is one of Lycia’s most important administrative centers. 

Distance: ~45 km by road

Letoon Ancient City

This sacred site, listed on the UNESCO World Heritage List along with Xanthos, is known as the religious center of Lycia.

Tombs and Monuments

The King’s Tomb (Lion Sarcophagus)

Located in the center of Kaş, this monumental sarcophagus is one of the city’s landmarks. 

Distance: 3.5–4 km. 

Duration: 7–10 minutes by car, approximately 30–35 minutes on foot.


Lycian Rock Tombs

These tombs, carved into the rocks, are among the most characteristic works of the Lycian civilization. 

Distance: 3.5–4 km. 

Time: 7–10 minutes by car, approximately 30–35 minutes on foot.

Special Historical Sites

Kekova Island

Famous for the ruins of its sunken city. You can see traces of the ancient underwater structures on a boat tour. 

Distance: ~34–35 km by land
Duration: ~40–50 min by car

 

Simena (Kaleköy)

This village, accessible only by sea, features a castle, an ancient theater, and sarcophagi. 

Kaş → Kaleköy / Simena (land + sea): 

Radisson Blu → Üçağız Village (land): ~34–35 km, ~40–50 min by car 

Üçağız → Kaleköy / Simena (by sea): ~1–2 km, ~5–10 minutes by boat 

 

Note: There is no road to Kaleköy; to reach the island and the ancient castle, take a boat from Üçağız or take a short walk/sea route.

Phellos Ancient City

Located above Kaş, this lesser-known ancient city is ideal for those who love exploring in the midst of nature. 

Distance: ~34–35 km by land 

Duration: ~40–50 minutes by car

Kaş Harbor → C-47 Airplane Wreck (by sea): This dive site is typically located along the route taken by boats departing from the harbor. Dive boats heading to wrecks in areas such as Kaş’s Limanağzı / Fener region take approximately 10–20 minutes by sea (depending on the dive center’s schedule)
 

Tank Wreck 

Particularly suitable for beginners 

Radisson Blu Hotel, Kaş → Kaş Harbor (marina): The distance is approximately 4–5 km, and it takes just a few minutes by car. (Kaş Harbor is where the dive boats depart from) 

Sea:

Kaş Marina → Tank Wreck: Dive boats depart from the marina, and it takes about a 20–30-minute boat ride to reach this wreck site. This time may vary depending on sea conditions and the boat’s route.
 

Flying Fish Wreck 

Great for photographers

Hidayet Cove 

Shallow and calm, ideal for a first dive

Diving/Snorkeling Experience:

Hidayet Cove is a cove where you can typically dive or snorkel by entering the water directly from the shore. It is not a remote area like a boat dive site; it is well-suited for exploring the underwater world from the shore.
 

Fener (Lighthouse Reef) 

Popular for night dives
